Fall is a lovely time of year. I am looking forward to cooler temps and some rain. Living in California, we are bombarded with fires and smoke.
Welcome to another tablescape blog hop for welcoming fall. Chloe Crabt from Celebrate and Decorate has put together another group of talented bloggers who will be sharing their lovely Fall tables. Be sure to click the links toward the bottom of this post. My table is full of cheer with sunflowers and checks.
I set this table up in our Breakfast room where the ceiling is painted red.
I have added my Mackenzie Child's Courtly Check plates, mugs and saucers, & napkins along with the lamp shades.
Beautiful bouquet of sunflowers sets the stage for this colorful table. A Buffalo Plaid tablecloth compliments the yellow and orange. Sunflowers are such a cheerful and happy flower. They are very plentiful in the stores now.
The Mackenzie Child's lamp shades sit on top of some silver candle holders/
Black flatware from Horchow goes nicely with the black and white. I added some orange and yellow napkins to the Courtly check napkins for more color pop.
Chair sashes with sunflower pillows complete the look.
Here are the links for each blogger's Tablescape.

Hi there, Linda! When my husband sees something engaging or thought-provoking, he always says, "Well, who'd a thunk it?" That's what I thought when I saw the title of this post - BEFORE I'd even scrolled to see your pictures. I simply adore this table. It's like playing checkers with sunflower blooms. LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteI probably will sound like a broken record, but black and white checks look amazing with the sunflowers. Love the chair sashes with the sunflower pillows. Love it all!

ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous Linda! There’s nothing cheerier that sunflowers and they’re perfectly paired with your black and white checked elements. I’m lovin’ those flower petal placemats framing your placesettings and your Courtly Check lampshades are spectacular! As always it’s a treat to have a virtual seat at your table. I hope cooler temps and rains prevail to help put out those devastating fires, keep safe. ♥
ReplyDeleteLinda, Cheerful and happy table. Sunflowers are perfect with MKC plates and mugs.I love the pops of orange, gold, and yellow with the black and white check.
ReplyDeleteYour sunflower pillows and chair sashes are great accents.
Linda, this really is a cheerful table setting. The red ceiling and the sunflowers on the table's center immediately draw the eye up. I do love how you've incorporated your MC dishware and napkins with the sunflower pieces. The way you doubled your napkins made me think they were solids with an MC check border - nicely done! The lampshades on the candlesticks are a brilliant touch too. And those placemats are super cute - they look like they're crocheted! A great segue from summer to fall, and hopefully the end of the fires in your area.
ReplyDeleteYou always wow with your tables. What time shall I arrive? I'll be sporting a mask 😷, ha, ha
