Just when I thought the air was starting to clear, there is the glass fire and more.
So sad to see so many homes plus wineries burned. Other businesses. These are people's dreams. We need rain to put out these devastating fires. Trying to remain positive, so difficult with the world being a mess.
I shared some Autumn decor around our home. Keeping busy does help.
I decided to add some neutral colors to the dining room plus the fireplace. The shabby box, I added the Gather wooden plaque. Tall white candlesticks with pretty battery candles were placed on each side of the box.
Party Time!

Oh Linda, I am so sorry the smoke is back, the fires are horrendous, all those homes and wineries gone...I had a Zoom last night with family in California and Washington and they were describing how awful the air and sky are, I'm praying that you all can stay healthy and that rain comes soon. Decorating and creating are keeping me sane too, every day there seems to be a new challenge or obstacle. Thank you for hosting and giving us the pleasure of this party!

This hurts us all, seeing the fires ravage California and the Pacific Northwest. I, too, am praying for rain and for the safety of you, your family and friends, and all who are living there. I'm on a cleaning jag these days. Next week I hope to share a little fall decor -- before it's time to move on to another season!

ReplyDeleteWow, Linda! That sweet & sour chicken - so easy, so delish sounding! And I've been wanting a really good pumpkin donut - I think I found it! Thanks for hosting, featuring, and I've pinned from the sources.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry you are in the midst of terrifying fires surrounding your area. I just couldn't take it. I would be such a basket case. I will keep you and all those in harm's way in my prayers, count on it.

ReplyDeleteWe finally got a bit of rain here this week but it's so sad to see how low or even dried up all the rivers and streams are. I can't even imaging watching people's homes and businesses burning from wildfires-- that is so so sad.
