Hello friends, I am sharing an updated future look for one of our guest bedrooms. For years, I had a jungle theme going, which everyone loved.
We are also giving her some dishes, wine glasses and some decor items.
Remember when wallpaper borders were in? Also the older style tvs were very boxy and heavy. My how times have changed. I am in the process of removing the wallpaper border now. It has been a slow process.
Did you know wallpaper is back in style? Watch most of the HGTV shows and you will see them adding wallpaper, usually one accent wall.
My husband added the Alexa Echo Dot to each room in addition to the light switches to control the lights.
I ordered a new bedroom set and lamps. We are definitely going for a different look. Above is the bedroom set I ordered. The headboard is 71" high. I loved the lamps, however they are discontinued, so I had to find something else.
This bed is the very same bed my mom ordered for her new house. Unfortunately she only got to enjoy it about 4 months at the most. She passed away this year. Looking at this bed will remind me of my mom and our special times together.
Below is the new lamp I purchased since the above was discontinued.
I also ordered new bedding, since the jungle look no longer matched. This look is a romantic look.

ReplyDeleteI do remember wallpaper in every shape and form and even did a ceiling..when we moved here 20 yrs ago I vowed..never again:) Michaela must be thrilled.

ReplyDeleteOMGOSH! I love that bedroom set you ordered, too. I also had a Jungle Room theme bedroom and when my grandson turned 10 he was all about that so I gave them everything in the room. I held on to one picture that I loved but eventually gave him that, too. It is fun to do a new/fresher look and I can't wait to see your transition. xo Diana
