All That Glistens

Welcome to the Christmas Blog Hop of 2020.  You will find 18 talented bloggers who are sharing their Christmas tables.  I hope you get inspired!  Lots of eye candy.  Many thanks to Chloe from Celebrate and Decorate for organizing this fabulous blog hop.  You will find the links toward the bottom of this post.

All That Glistens is Gold!

I set our dining table in red and gold this year. Rich Parchment Red by Mikasa is a lovely pattern with scrolls of gold.

I paired the Parchment Red with gold chargers.  Golden beaded placemats add the bling! I am also using my gold flatware by Horchow.  The wreath place cards I made.  I shall share them in another post.

I dressed the reindeer with holly leaves, berries and evergreen.  I topped their heads with golden crowns. The gold vase in the backyard is a Pottery World purchase we bought years ago.  Love the look and of course it is full of bling!
For the large hurricanes, I filled them 1/3 with golden beads and a flickering battery candle.

The tablecloth is a soft gold and silver.  I added a red table runner down the center.

Gold goblets match the table's theme with gold and red.
I love dressing our chandeliers and also using chair sashes on the chairs.  I am a blingy girl. I love using the LED lights to give some nice ambiance.  Lots of sparkle.

Since there is so much going on this table, I decided to keep the centerpiece simple.  I am using our gold bowl. I filled it with Deodara's branches and a few ornaments. The red compotes hold a  glass golden pear.

  5. Linda, you are bling personified! I will always associate glamour & glitz with you. Your table is decked out beautifully with all that glistens. I love the gold beads in the hurricanes for the candles, and the deer with their crowns. The place cards are very pretty! The chandelier looks great with those LED lights. Those are very cool. I bet this table glistens at nighttime with the light catching all the glimmer and bouncing off the placemats. Happy December. Leaving that table set should be a nice way to keep the Christmas spirit alive through the month. :)
