Stacked Food

Stacked food has been around for quite some time.  I love the presentation of stacked foods.  Your guests will be wowed.  My favorite is presenting a stacked salad for the first course. I bought this book years ago and have enjoyed making stacked foods. I also have the kit.

The book share all kinds of recipes from salads, appetizers, seafood, savory and sweet. The pyramid form is interesting.  if you don't have the kit, feel free to use cans with both end cut off.  Clean pvc pipe is another option.

This salad is so tasty.  A girlfriend shared this recipe with me, after we had dinner together.  It is called Autumn salad.  Everyone loved it. What's not to love with bacon, pecans, feta cheese, dried cranberries, apples and pears with poppy seed dressing. It is so yummy. The Recipe Critic has the recipe on her blog..

I thought this salad would be so pretty stacked!
Stacked beet salad.  The possibilities are endless.
I made a stacked lentil salad with lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes with an olive oil, lemon drizzle.

Some favorites are the  enchilada stack, which you can assemble without a form.
The grilled salmon and corn pancakes are so yummy.

With Valentines coming up, using a heart mold would be awesome.  Dessert, salad, etc.
