Many thanks to Debbee from Debbees Buzz for organizing this Bee themed blog hop. The links are at the bottom of this post. World Bee Day is May 20 this year.
Bees, like other pollinators play a key role in making life possible on our planet.
We need to support our pollinators. We have lots of lavender in our yard and the bees love it.
I set this black and gold table in our Breakfast room starting with this gold tablecloth. If you love bees, you will love this table.
The top bee plates are from William Sonoma. The bee dinner plates is from Home Goods. Black and gold chargers make this table elegant.
Bee flatware from Horchow. My Grandin Road black and white topiaries go perfectly with this table theme.
My bee glass with the bee napkins and bee napkin rings.
My little bee girl loves sitting at this bee themed table.
Crown Linens black and white checked placemats are so fun with the yellow placemats.
Close up of the zebra pasta in yellow bee bowls. Such a fun pasta and also perfect for Halloween. The sweet little bee bowls are by Temp-tations Bee-lieve found at lakeside.com

ReplyDeleteThank you so much, you are so sweet. Magic is so fun!
DeleteLinda, I have those same WS plates and love them as well as everything about your table! Your plate stack is beautiful starting with your black and white check CLD placemats. I have watering can envy with your pretty sunflowers and love your pretty stemware! Your bee girl is adorable and I love the addition of your zebra pasta in your cute bee bowls. As always it’s a pleasure to join you at the table and hop with you. Happy Wednesday ♥
ReplyDeleteThank you Mary. When as I saw those WS plates, I knew I had to have them. There are so many pretty bee theme dishes and accessories out there. I am off to explore your table, as I know it will be beautiful.
DeleteLinda, what an incredibly creative table full of elements you've sourced here! I love the bee bowls and thought the bow-tie pasta was a textile inside - how the eye plays tricks, and so clever! You're right, your Grandin Road topiaries and CL placemats go perfectly and are fun with your theme, and so well put together. Your bee doll and watering can are sweet touches. That platter is really nice too, as are the napkins from Etsy (remind me a little of M-C Vendage pattern they had a few years back). I love this and would really enjoy sharing a meal here, with a walkabout through your fantastic landscaped garden. I'm sure the bees would share their paradise!
ReplyDeleteThank you Rita, this table was so fun to put together. I kept thinking what should ai put into those darling little bee bowls. I was looking through my cupboard and spotted the black and white pasta and knew that was perfect. I wish you lived close, so we could enjoy a meal together. Happy Wednesday, I am off to explore your pretty table.

So many cute details. Very well done.

ReplyDeleteOh, Linda, your table is stunning! Love the gold and black mix. The napkins first caught my eye. They make such a rich mix with all the other pretty pieces on the table. And the bee girl presiding over the table is perfect!
ReplyDeleteLinda, ever since you shared the sneak peak of your stunning table, I have been all abuzz! Definitely the bees knees! I thoroughly enjoyed slowly absorbing all the wonderful details in each and every single pix. The WS plates are fabulous, and oh that I had storage space to add them to my collection! It's a honey of a plate stack set off so well by the ruffled placemats. The goblets are beautiful --- are they vintage? Love the watering can and tray too. Heck I love it all! Can you pack it all up in a box and send it to me in Pittsburgh lol?
ReplyDeleteOh my Linda!! Your plate stack is fabulous!!! Those chargers are crazy gorgeous!! Love the check placemats that perfectly frame your wonderfully curated collection of plates!! Can you tell I love it❤️❤️❤️ And only you could top it all off with coordinating black and white pasta!!! You are a genius!!!
ReplyDeleteLinda, your black and gold theme is perfect, and the bee girl doll is adorable. Of course she loves sitting at this table. I need to find zebra pasta! Thanks for sharing all the inspiration from the beautiful bee plates, stemware, and flatware to the darling bee watering can for flowers. I'm buzzing with delight.

ReplyDeleteAs beautiful as your landscape around your home is, I knew you would do an outstanding job with this theme! Bees just about HAVE TO BE your friend!🐝🐝🐝 That Williams Sonoma salad plates is exquisite! They really do have a top notch selection of dishes! I saw the honeycomb plates from Home Goods and stupidly decided to forego buying them. They’re such a nice way to celebrate all Spring and summer long! Heck...even into Fall as those bees are still quite busy doing their thing at warp speed around here!!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done, Linda! Enjoy your weekend!

The Williams Sonoma bee top plate is fabulous, and those black and white buffalo check placemats are the perfect base layer. I love how they contrast with the napkins, too. Your bee pitcher with the sunflowers makes a bee-utiful centerpiece! I see that we both found the bee platter from Homegoods. I almost stood mine up on the table just like you did. Creative minds think alike! It's always a pleasure to join you on these fun hops!
