I set an alfresco table on our deck off the study with this beautiful French country blue and yellow tablecloth from France. The color is so pretty. It has sunflowers, lemons, olives and bees.
Sunflowers are the centerpiece in a yellow pot. Cobalt blue goblets fit in nicely with this colorful tablecloth. I am using my lemon placemats I bought on Amazon.
The napkins have blue and yellow and also have bees. I have added my Napoleon Bee flatware.
The dishes are from Ross, our local discount store. I love the blue and yellow flowers. The plate has a saying "Bless the food before us, the family beside us, and the love between us.
Two palms flank the fountain. You can see our shade garden in the background.
My hubby had to rebuild that lattice wall, due to some wisteria that planted itself there and was pulling down the wall. He planted some clematis on the lattice.
The outdoor shower I shall be sharing soon. Just finishing some final touches.

ReplyDeleteThank you Karen, I received your comment fine. You are always welcome.
DeleteI love the beautiful blue and yellow themed table with the sunflowers. The tablecloth from France is just gorgeous and same for the chair cushions.
ReplyDeleteYour hubby has been working hard with the lattice wall and the outdoor shower. It's so nice to have a handy husband!
I mentioned you on my blog today about setting up the new email subscriber. Thanks again for your help.
I hope you have a nice week Linda.
I am just wild about the blue and yellows in these last couple of years! Just pops!!
ReplyDeleteLove that you got the plates and chair pads at Ross, going to check my store out here.
Really so summery and the sunflowers are just my style. BEAUTIFUL...
Hugs, Roxy
Very pretty Linda. Happy Tuesday. xoxo
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Linda! Transports you to the French countryside
ReplyDeleteThat's perfect for your outdoor space with all your lemon trees, etc.
ReplyDeleteWisteria can be really wicked, and I guess you guys found that out the hard way. I saw a new variety mentioned in So Living magazine - an American variety, that's not supposed to take over. I think clematis is a great alternative!
Yellow and blue is my favorite color combo and I would be in seventh heaven sitting down at this table! The tablecloth is really fabulous and of course your dishes work so well with it. I love the sunflowers!
ReplyDeleteI love blue-and-yellow Provence tablecloths. They are always so cheery! And those lemon charger plates complement yours so well!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a striking table, Linda. I adore a little bit of drama in my decorating and this is beautiful. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI love your tablecloth. It looks like it was made just for the table and the plates are so cute. I just love everything you did.
ReplyDeleteWow! Wisteria just can insert itself somewhere there? Not that easy here in the Midwest.😏 We have to really work for it to grow!!! I love clematis, though. I’ve seen some where the blooms are as big as saucers!!!
ReplyDeleteVibrant, cooling blue mixed with sunshiny yellow...a show stopping combo! Your dishes are from Ross? We never have anything that good at the Ross locations in this area. I hit up 4 or 5 of them around the metropolitan area, but I’ve never seen nice dishes like yours there.😕
very pretty and très Provence!
ReplyDeleteI have a special place in my heart for French Provincial styles and colors. The yellows and blues remind me of the sun and visiting the South of France. The table you set is so charming, and using the placemats give it that extra touch. The plates and flowers are so pretty and with the background from your gardens looks as if you are in Provence! Such a lovely table setting Linda. Wishing you and Paul a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.......
ReplyDeleteIm just living the color combo, the gorgeous tablecloth and your sunflowers, and your setting. It’s all so stunning! 💙💛💙
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Linda! LOVE the colors, and the sentiment on the plates is so sweet. We always look for opportunities to dine alfresco. Your setting is lovely!
ReplyDeleteHi Linda,
ReplyDeleteThis is a BEAUTIFUL table setting!!! I love blue and yellow together -- one of my all-time favorite color combinations, and oh so very French. :D I have two French provencal tablecloths, and they are fun to work with; yours is just lovely. You also found a great set of chair cushions, and all your dishes are sooo pretty. I would love to dine with you at your cheery, summer table. You and your husband have a wonderful outdoor space to enjoy.
Hope you have a great weekend, Linda. :)
Hugs to you,
Denise at Forest Manor
Linda, this is perfectly provencal in feel! The beautiful table cloth and the confit pot filled with sunflowers takes me back to vacations spend in the south of France. Every detail beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSo so pretty Linda, I just love cobalt blue and yellow for summer! The sunflowers look like they are right out of a Van Gogh painting, beautiful!
