Welcome to another Tablescape Blog Hop. We invite you to see some fabulous fall tablescapes. They are listed at the bottom of this post. Many thanks goes to Rita from Panoply for organizing this fall tablescape blog hop. If you are coming over from Mary's Home is Where The Boat Is, I bid you welcome. Happy hopping!
I set this colorful table in our dining room. With Poppies, checks and roses as my theme. My plate stack is topped with roses and poppies. China by Love's Theme.
I am loving the checks as they seem to go with any color. Black and white is timeless. The runner is new this year from Mercari. My Mackenzie Child's Stately vase holds poppies, roses and greens.
The plate stack consists of American Atelier dinner plate, topped by Mackenzie Child's Courtly Check and two poppy plates.
The placemats are from Crown Linens.More black and white with the candles and also lamp shades.
Red flatware and red goblets add a nice pop of color to this table.
I folded the red napkins like a rose and added them to my Mackenzie's child's ice cream bowls.

Gorgeous Linda. Hope you had a wonderful Labor Day Weekend. xoxo Kris
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous table! Absolutely adore the red, brilliant color of the poppies with the MC checks! Hope you have a great week, Linda.
ReplyDeleteYour table is lovely - and looks so inviting. I struggle with round placemats because I feel that the plate is too far away from the edge of the table to eat - do you find that? I see so many round ones that are pretty but I got rid of most of mine because of that. But I would be a happy guest at your table anyday!
ReplyDeleteWhat caught my eye IMMEDIATELY are the red rose napkins folded in the ice cream bowls! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteYour runner is so pretty snd that centerpiece is stunning, Linda! Red is my favorite color and the poppy theme makes me smile. Those iron hurricanes are lovely with your checkered candles. Great job!
ReplyDeleteLinda you never disappoint and your poppies and checks are lovely! I never tire of seeing your M&C pieces and you are right, black and white is timeless. Your poppy dishes remind me of my "just Flowers" pattern from Mikasa...and I was instantly drawn to them. So pretty my friend. You are an inspiration in all areas of your life.

I love your table, Linda! The black and white checks feel so crisp, just like September is supposed to be. The plate stacks are striking and I like the way you 'folded' the napkins. I'm especially drawn to the table runner, the centerpiece and the candle displays. They make a lovely and bold statement that can be used well beyond dinner.
ReplyDeleteWow, Linda! You really brought out a great assortment of Courtly Checks for this table! You're right - the black and white is such a classic, and can be paired with most anything. Is that runner you purchased from Mercari an M-C product? I can't remember if they did a poppy line or not, but that runner adds a major pop to your table! Thanks for joining in the fun. The variety on this hop really shows everyone's enthusiasm for the new season!
ReplyDeleteWOW - that is one happy table! Love the candlesticks and the centerpiece bowl!

ReplyDeleteOh Linda! I always love your tables, but especially when you incorporate your MacKenzie Child pieces! Pairing the beautiful deep reds with the black and white check make a lovely combination for autumn! I will definitely be boring your idea of creating a rosette with the napkins in the tea cups!
ReplyDeleteLinda, a tablescape of happiness! I love your mix of poppies and checks. So lively and playful and bold. The black and white in a tablescape is always a classic. I love your collection of MacKenzie Childs, especially the large floral vase. What a beautiful centerpiece. A perfect tablescape for any time of the year.
