I set a table for two in our Breakfast room. Rich warm colors, a floral arrangement and a cute turkey in bronze tones. The lovely tablecloth is one of my favorites.
I added different floral elements along with some grapes, pumpkins and pears.
The flatware is from Horchow. I waited quite a few years to finally give in and purchase it. The leopard goblets I purchased from Horchow a few years back.
A few of the shots I managed to capture at the Blue Hour. Twilight is one of the best times to take night photos. The transition between day to night.
Gold beaded square placemats are also a favorite. perfect for holiday entertaining. They are from Zgalleries The plates are dark brown with gold. I tucked a napkin under the plates for a clean look.
I am using the cut molding pieces my husband made for me for the turkey place cards.
A little bling added to the table with my high heel wine bottle holder.I am also using pillow cases on my chairs that are upholstered in red. I added a gold chair sash and a gold napkin ring for added pizazz. Many of you know I have been using pillow cases to cover my chairs for years. An easy fix!
I made the cute little turkeys from chocolate. I used them a few years back for butter molds. They work fantastic. The chocolate or butter just pops out.
Mary from Home is Where The Boat Is also shared some cute molded butter turkeys. I think they are icing on the cake. A beautiful addition to your Thanksgiving table.
Let us be thankful for our abundance. May we be joyful with our sharing. Let us sow hope. May we reap love. Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving.

ReplyDeleteElegant! I noticed the "blue hour" light peeking through your window right away. Great idea to cover the chairs with pillowcases - wish I could do that to mine, but they have scalloped tops. May have to give it a try anyway! I'm so thankful to be celebrating with extended family this year! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
