Dress Your Chairs with Pillow Cases

One of my tricks for changing the colors of my Breakfast room chairs is to use pillow cases. Over the years, I have created different looks by using pillow cases, chair sashes and more. Keep in mind, your chairs have to be smaller.  Mine are pillow case size, usually about 20 inches wide.

This Buffalo Plaid look is quite fun!  I was lucky enough to find the pillow cases to match.

I have used angel wings added to pillow cases for an angel Christmas Tablescape.
You can find the wings on Ebay or discounted at the Halloween store.

I embellished the angel wings with  crystal decor. I love the look and you can create  this look as well.  The soft furry white pillow cases I found at Target.

You can find pillow cases everywhere, even the Dollar store. I buy the chair sashes from Tablecloth Factory.  They come in all colors and are quite inexpensive.

Another example.

Pink cases with gold sequin  chair sash.

This table is gold and black.

How about a look for Spring?  I found some cute floral pillow cases for my Citrus table.
My Mackenzie Childs Easter table, the chairs are dressed in white pillow cases with pink sashes.
Pretty Aqua cases with a chair sash.

A Regal Mother's Day table I set, I used purple silky pillow cases.

Here's some pretty pink pillow cases for Fergal The Frog

Feel free to use napkins and placemats on your chairs in addition to pillowcases.

You get the idea.  Be creative and have fun!
Jack and Sally

Since the table is purple, black  and gold, I am using black satin  pillow cases with a  purple chair sash.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas.
We may get some snow this Christmas.

  2. I'm always amazed at the gorgeous table settings you create Linda. Using a pillow case and a sash add that extra touch. The weather is so warm here and I don't think we will be getting any snow. I hope you have a nice weekend Linda.
