Welcome to the tablescape Blog Hop named When Irish Eyes are Smiling. I want to thank Debbee from Debbee's Buzz for organizing this fun filled blog hop. You will find tablescapes, crafts and Irish food. Let the Shenanigans begin! . My table is revolved around these darling Celtic Knot Carolers. They are all decked out in their green Celtic Knots finery. Last year I was The Keeper of The Traveling Shamrock Cloth. Many thanks to the lovely Rita from WVPanoply for passing it on to me all the way from Charleston. To find out more about the cloth's history, feel free to click my link above. . You will have to visit each Blogger below to see who is this year's Keeper of the Traveling Shamrock Cloth. If you are coming over from Sarah's blog, Top of the Mornin' to You! ☘ Hyacinths for the Soul, I bid you good morning! Since the weather has been fairly nice, I decided to set my St. Patrick's table on the deck off our study
I bought these darling Celtic Knot Carolers around Christmas.
Black and white checks seem to go perfectly with the green. A fun lucky clover shamrocks tablecloth ties in all in together.
I am using my new Mackenzie Childs Limited Edition Lucky Clover Shamrock Courtly Check Plates with Courtly Check dinner plates. A shamrock placemats sit on top of my Ruffled checkered placemats.
The sweet little Leprechaun mugs are also new. I found them on Mercari.
How can I resist his cute face? I filled the mug with green Hershey kisses, gold coins and a rainbow sucker.
The deck off our study is a perfect place to enjoy lunch.

Linda I love the MacKenzie-Childs shamrock plates that you added to your collection. The Celtic Knot Carolers and Leprechaun mugs are just the right touch for your celebration. Our area has an all day celebration (this Saturday) with a large parade and then most everyone heads to the local restaurants and pubs for all day music, green beer and corned beef and cabbage. We have the Irish Cultural Center of the Mohawk Valley a few miles from our home that is lovely. As luck would have it, we will be having a snowstorm during the parade this year. I'll wear my green hat and scarf lol.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful as usual Linda....love the MacKenzie-Childs shamrock plates and the cute little mug. The Celtic Knot Carolers caught my eye in the teaser and I couldn't wait to see them up close and personal...they did not disappoint. We have been enjoying beautiful weather here in Florida also...eating outside is always nice. Always a pleasure to hop with you.

Good Morning Linda! I’m green with envy over your lucky clover plates that you and Sarah are both featuring today. I love the black and white check paired with green for St. Paddy’s Day. Your Celtic Knot Carolers are darling along with your cute leprechaun mugs. I got a kick out of ‘The Wearing of the Green’ on your statuary too. :) As always it’s a treat to hop with you and join you at the table. Happy Thursday ☘️
ReplyDeleteOh Linda the carolers are awesome! They're perfect for St Patty's Day. And the 4 leaf clover plates are very chic. Your tablescapes are one of my biggest inspirations for holidays! We make a wonderful brisket and Colcannon to celebrate my hubby's Irish heritage at St Patrick's Day.
ReplyDeleteMay good luck be with you Wherever you go, and your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow. May your days be many and your troubles be few, May all God's blessings descend upon you, May peace be within you, May your heart be strong, May you find what you're seeking wherever you roam.

Love your plates and those carolers. Your St. Paddy's table is one of the best I have seen. Beautiful my friend. xoxo
ReplyDeleteMy faves are those cute leprechaun mugs filled with goodies! I like the green "hair" and leprechaun hats on your garden statuary too!
ReplyDeleteI love a table with the centerpiece not in the center of the diners, but on the edge as you did with your darling carolers. They're really cute (do you use them at Christmas, too -- I would, but they're perfect for St. Paddy's Day.) A table for two is always so charming! (Well, now that I think of it, almost all my tables are for two because that's what we are, but they aren't nearly so charming!)
ReplyDeletehi Linda, your Celtic Knot Carolers are so cute and the leprechaun mugs are adorable! I love your mix of shamrocks and black and white checks, they look great together! Of course the shamrock MKC plates steal the show ☘️ May the luck of the Irish be with you!

What an absolutely fun table for St. Pat's. The Mackenzie-Childs clover plate is just beautiful, and the carolers are adorable! I went down a rabbit hole reading about the Traveling Shamrock Cloth. So many beautiful and creative tables using the same cloth. That was a brilliant idea. I've thoroughly enjoyed your delightful post.
ReplyDeleteAll your collections are on point for every occasion:)
ReplyDeleteLinda, I've not seen carolers dressed for St Patrick's Day - unique! And I absolutely adore those shamrock plates from MC, so, so tempting, but I am being good! What a great setting for you for this table occasion to be outdoors. your living wall and patio rug are perfect accents to the black & white and green & white checks and shamrocks. I love the play of the patterns and the effect of the sunlight, just so inviting. Save a place for me, I'd love to be there!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun St. Paddy’s Day table, Linda! Your Celtic Carolers are darling! The new MKC clover plates are perfect. I’d love to join you on your patio! 💚☘️💚
ReplyDeleteLinda, your table on the terrace is pure charm! I'll be smiling all day thinking of that cup leprechaun mug. The Celtic Carolers are a fun set! We were on the save wave length with some of our details. Not surprising that we both use our Crown Linen Design checkered placemats and the fabulous limited edition shamrock plates. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteLinda, my heart dances over your playful and whimsical outdoor St. Patrick's Day table. I fell in love with your carolers and beautiful MKC child's plate stack. Who can resist that adorable leprechaun mug! It had me smiling! Your tablecloth definitely pulls it all together, but your green derby hats on the lady statues is a fun detail that definitely conveys a bit of humor for the holiday. Let the fun begin! So sweet. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
ReplyDeleteLinda, you've set another fabulously festive table. I love to linger on your photos and look at all the details. You always go the extra mile!
ReplyDeleteLinda, first off, I love the Celtic carolers! I have not seen St. Paddy’s Day carolers before. Your plate stack is perfection with the courtly check, cabbage ware, and the fun shamrock plates. The leprechaun mug is adorable. And to top it off, set outdoors 💚☘️
ReplyDeleteHow adorable are those celtic knot carolers! My sister has the exact same Christmas carolers and I must show her how you transformed them for St. Patrick's Day. Your tablescape is lovely and I appreciate that you listed the source for each element. It seems the beautiful Pinheiro Bodallo cabbage plates and MacKenzie-Childs shamrock plates are very popular in this blog hop and I just love them!
ReplyDeleteThose celtic knot carolers are priceless! What fun pieces you have for St. Patrick's day. I looked around in the stores and could not find anything cute! You are "lucky" to have these pieces from MacKenzie-childs. Those shamrock plates are just so cute. Great table! It is fun blog hopping with you!

Linda, your beautiful and fun Irish tablescape is like a pot full of golden St. Paddy's Day inspiration! I always love black and white, and you've incorporated it wonderfully. Rich layering of the shamrock print tablecloth with both the check and shamrock-shape placemats really makes the settings pop! What a great find those carolers are --- I've added to my shopping list while in Ireland to be on the lookout of an Irish figure or two. And, those adorable mugs as guest favors adds a nice whimsical touch. You always knock it out of the park Linda, thanks for contributing your talents to the hop these last two years.
ReplyDeleteLinda, this is so cute! Love the Carolers and that green top plate! The mugs are so cute and I love that you put hats on the planters! Very festive!
