Lets Taco About

It's time to fiesta and enjoy Mexican food , Margaritas and Sangria. We really enjoy Mexican food.  One of my favorites is Chili Verde Chimichangas.  My husband enjoys enchiladas. Fresh Guacamole,  chips, rice, beans and Churro Ice Cream Bowls.

I love a fruit margarita, however Sangria is a lovely drink with lots of fresh fruit.
Mary from Home is Where The Boat is shared a wonderful  Mexicana Sangria.
In the past, we have made Sangria! Sangria! Recipe  from All Recipes.

This year I set a table on the deck off our study. The taco stands are from Home Goods plus the tortilla keeper.

The Quacamole recipe I used is HERE.

A pretty and colorful table is set for Cinco de Mayo.

I usually make enchiladas and the recipe I used is by Tyler Florence.

How about dessert?
This recipes comes from Better Homes and Garden.  These Apple Pie tacos are an easy dessert, made with small 4 inch tortillas stuffed with apple filling.  Add some whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel and you are going to so happy!

Churro Ice Cream Bowls

The recipe for the Churro Ice Cream bowl is HERE

Enjoy and happy Cinco de Mayo.

  1. Looks so good and fun too Linda...I lived in New Mexico for a number of years and every day was Cinco de Mayo as far as food goes. I have lots of good recipes from my family who still live there. Beautiful table, my friend

  6. Happy Cinco de Mayo Linda, I hope you enjoyed the Sangria Mexicana! You have the perfect spot for a fiesta, and your table is so colorful and festive! Love those taco stands and tortilla keeper. It’s in the 80s here today which is warm for May in our neck of the woods so your Churro Ice Cream Bowls would be a sweet way to cool off. ♥

  7. LOL I spotted a store clerk putting those taco holders up on the shelf and had to ask what they were! You’ve prepared two beautiful tables! Love the one outside table, it’s so colorful and festive! Those placemats with the colorful beads are perfect and the multi colored dishes too! We dined at our local Mexican restaurant last night, forgetting that today is Cinco de Mayo! Those taco apple desserts look so good!
