Tales of The Traveling Tote #32

Welcome September! The Tales of the Traveling Tote is a group of women who share our adventures with our named  Mackenzie Child's tote whether far or near.

Paul and I have been working on projects all summer. From Paul building the poolside hutch, side gate to volleyball court, mermaid towel rack and then on to the driveway gate. Next is the fencing to tie in with the new driveway gate.

My Granddaughter and family visited during the summer months. Lots of swimming, snow cones and more.

Lilly and Logan having fun in our pool.

Lilly Dot came for a 1 week visit during the summer. She wanted another tea party.

Paul and I visited Douglas Van Howd Studio in August. Doug is a well-known Sculptor and painter known worldwide for his wildlife and western creations. He happens to reside in our very town of Auburn, California.

Pony Express Rider.

Doug creates beautiful outdoor and indoor large or small monument sculptures that are as lifelike in detail.  Each piece is full of movement.

Unveiling of Ronald Reagan at the State Capital. Doug was commissioned to make a 8 foot replica of Ronald Reagan.
Pizza night for Paul and I and mini Miss Lola.

I shopped the Mackenzie Child's Barn Sale and picked up a few things. I thought the large Big Blue Check whale would be a great addition down at the pool, along with the whale plates. They match my Royal Check tote bag.

Monday Jain from A Quiet Life Blog her husband and I got pedicures. My husband joined us for lunch. I took Miss Gigi along this time.  I am very thankful that Mackenzie Childs created this custom  Serendipity tote just for me.
