I have been busy decking the halls. How about you? I decorated the living room this year. something I haven't done in years. I went with mostly white and cream. I shall be sharing that soon. hope your Christmas is full of joy and merriment. I want to thank our lovely hostess Rita from Panoply for organizing this blog hop. This year I went with plaids and Santa.
I Santa plates sit atop some berry dinner plates. Red square chargers sit nicely on the plaid placemats.
Santa and his reindeer grace this table.
Another Santa is standing by the glam tree. He looks like he spent the day in the woods.
Santa is decked out with plaids. He even had mittens with plaid. A cute Santa mug is a fun addition.
These cute little Santa suits are actually a Christmas pick. I removed the stick so I could add the flatware. They are on sale at Michaels right now.
I am using two napkins. A plaid plus a 3 color napkin with gold, green and red.
Santa's sleigh and reindeer we bought from Pottery World years ago.
Santa party poppers sit beside the santa suit. This table is all about Santa and plaid.
Our built in wine refrigerator and icemaker are so handy for entertaining.

Plaid Tidings to you Linda! Love all the Santas, deer and merriment in your dining room with the plaid bows on your chandy and sparkling tree. I’m mad about plaid… you can never have too much in my book. I love how you repurposed the Santa suit picks to hold your flatware, so clever! Looking forward to seeing your living room decked out for the holidays. As always, it’s a treat to join you at the table and hop with you. Merry Tuesday❣️🎄

ReplyDeleteIt's alway a treat to see how you have set your table!! Love the Santa dishes and the crackers bring back memories (they are fun but I found confetti for days!!). Your bows are so pretty on the chandelier - did you make them? I wish you and Paul a joyous season!
ReplyDeleteI like those Santa plates with Santa wearing a plaid hat and mittens. Also the fur and plaid neck warmer you put on that gold reindeer really dresses it up!

The mugs are so cute and how brilliant to take a pick and turn it into a flatware case, that was the first thing I spotted and wondered where you got the Santa jacket, love this idea!! You even found Santa crackers to match! Your chandy looks very festive and I have a serious case of envy with your built in wine fridge and ice maker close by~

ReplyDeleteLinda, what a merry and fun table setting --- ho, ho, ho! Brought a big smile to my face and the song lyrics, "Santa Claus is coming to town", to my brain. Love those Santa plates! How clever to turn the picks into flatware holders! And it all goes so well with the plaid. Wonderful having the ice maker and wine frig built-ins. You have such a beautiful and well-appointed home. ReplyDeleteLinda as I have said before you never disappoint with your beautiful table settings. This one is not exception. It is sometimes the little things that make me smile and your Santa coats that hold the silverware are too adorable. Made me smile. Have a beautiful week. xoxo Kris
ReplyDeleteLinda, what a beautiful way to honor Santa, including all of the details. I was amazed with your centerpiece-Santa in his sleigh being pulled by his reindeer. I thought it was amusing and adorable that the deer were well dressed for cold weather too. (Must be from Wisconsin.) The Santa plates are adorable and the Santa coat flatware holder made me smile. What a cute idea. The plaid makes it so festive and your matching chandelier really adds more fun and elegance. The waistline napkin rings are charming. Your Christmas tree in the background really is gorgeous. It makes the entire room light up with fun and the anticipation of Santa for both kids and adults alike. Merry Christmas to you and your family, Linda. Blessings to you all.
ReplyDeleteLinda, I love all of the plaid! The plaid bows and white snowflakes are showstoppers on the chandelier. I like that the table is all about Santa. He looks so handsome in his sleigh. Seeing your Christmas tree makes the room magical. You pay attention to detail, and it really makes for a beautiful table! Merry December 🎄
ReplyDeleteLinda, you ALWAYS do such an amazing job with your tablescapes and this lovely Santa themed tablescape is no exception! I love it all, but a couple of things really caught my eye! I always enjoy seeing how you decorate and incorporate your chandelier. Those sweet little Santa coat picks used to hold the flatware is brillant! I am going to run to my local Michael's and see if they have any left. I know my granddaughters would get a kick out of helping me set the table with those! Then there is your beautiful Santa sleigh and reindeer! Just perfect! Merry Christmas to you and your family!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun table Linda! I love the little Santa coats for the flatware and the napkin rings are precious. You always add the most amazing little details to all your tablescapes! Your Santas and the sleigh bring that "Linda" touch of elegance that is always there. Thanks for the inspiration. Pinned!
