It has been raining a lot, which I love because the previous years were hardly had any rain.
Almost everyday, there has been rain, sometime thunder and hail.
I hope your new year is bright. Time to get organized and plan for Valentine's Day. Don't forget about the Valentine's Day Tablescape Blog Hop coming up.
It's soup time because the weather is cold and windy. I made a delicious clam Chowder and today I shall be making Chicken Taco Soup. Most of the time, I just wing it when it comes to recipes. I used All Recipes Base recipe and then tweaked it. I cooked some bacon and used some bacon drippings to sauté the veggies. I also used chicken stock instead of water. A tablespoon of Old Bay seasoning kicks up the taste. I also used 4 cans minced clams.
I love all of the inspiration. It is difficult to pick the features, because we have so many wonderful posts. There is so much creativity out there. Thank you friends for sharing your lovely posts. Feel free to use this Featured Button. Sharing your links does give us all some awesome inspiration.

Linda, hope the rain and winds are not becoming problematic for you. My future DIL's sister is getting married in San Fran this week and we are all crossing our fingers and toes! Really appreciate you featuring last year's ski trip! This year we'll be skiing locally, as 2023 includes two family destination weddings and two overseas vacations (pandemic rescheduling).
