Sealed With A Kiss Tablescape

Romance is in the air!  With Valentine's Day around the corner, it's time to share some lovely tablescapes with Love in mind.  Many thanks to lovely Rita from panoply for organizing this  fabulous love themed tablescape blog hop.  You will find lots of romantic, whimsical and fun tablescapes created by fellow tablescapers.  The links are at the bottom of this post. If you are visiting over from Rachelles blog, My Hubbard Home, I  welcome you.

The table is centered around this black, white, red and gold table runner and these fabulous black and gold goblets. Sealed with a KISS is so romantic. Big red lips and red roses are perfect additions for this table.
I bought these darling lip boxes from Etsy.  They are so fun and filled with lip chocolates at each place setting.  The red damask napkins are folded like a rose.

Karen, one of my girlfriends gifted me these gorgeous black and gold goblets.  They look so pretty with this theme's colors.

I love this rose covered tablecloth. I also added these beaded gold placemats for some bling! Black and gold place chargers are placed on each placemat.  My gold plates are layered with  Cynthia Rowley scalloped salad plates.
The table is adorned with these lovely crystal candle holders. I placed a cream colored kissing floral ball in each of them.  Smaller crystal candle holders hold glitter red candles.

The centerpiece I created with 4 Sealed With a Kiss signs from the Dollar store.  My handy husband built a wooden box and we attached each sign to 4 sides of the box. I cut out the top and left a heart in the envelope. I wanted a red heart, so I printed my own and glued it in the envelope.
I added a vase with fresh red roses and baby's breath.

As you know, I love to decorate my chandelier with each theme.  I draped white pearly bead garlands from the chandelier and then added the red  glitter hanging hearts. I bought these huge lip balloons to go along with the Sealed With a Kiss theme.  I bought a portable helium tank, so I could blow up my own balloons.  Did you know you can save your foil balloons to use again and again. You stick a long straw into the valve of the balloon, into the belly and the air will slowly come out! A handy tip to re-use balloons.

I took some daytime photos  and also some evening shots.

A chocolate lip lollipop was also added on each plate. I do have a  Valentine Brunch planned for my Cloggers gals.

  1. Good Morning Linda! I always look forward to your tables to see how you carry out your theme to your chandy and treats for your guests. Such a creative idea with the help of your handy hubby to build your centerpiece box with ‘sealed with a kiss’ signs from Dollar Tree. So clever to use flower kissing balls too! I see lots of balloon fun in your future with your helium tank. As always, it’s a treat to join you at the table and hop with you. Happy Tuesday ♥

  3. Linda, You always surprise and delight! Everything is beautiful and so creative. I am very impressed with your idea to use Dollar tree signs to create a centerpiece box. Your husband is so nice to build a box for you. Those crystal candle holders are so lovely adorned with flowers. Your plate stack is gorgeous and those goblets are so unique. As always, your chandy is over the top!

  4. Linda, you are the Queen of glitz and glam, and I love that Paul makes sure of it by helping you out however he can with your themed tablescapes! Tell him he did a great job on the centerpiece (and I'me sure you can re-use that!). What a great execution of sealing the table (and chandelier) with a kiss. The runner is a perfect addition to your black and white collection, and Karen's wine glass gift goes so well with your chargers. She knows you well. The sweet rosebud fold, and the chocolate box of candy lips are fun for guests. And what a great tip on the mylar balloons - I did not know that! Thank you for bringing your glam flair to the group on this hop, Linda!

  6. Linda thanks for the tip on saving the balloons...I have some left from a Kentucky Derby table and felt sad when they slowly lost all their helium and I couldn't bear to part with them. I know...we stylists can get a bit emotional over our tables can't we? Your glitzy table is an inspiration as always. When I get my IT issues resolved I will be joining our great group of table hoppers. Hugs my friend

  12. Linda, your tables are always full of creative energy, and this one is a perfect example. You have a style all your own, and I love it! Love the theme and your clever way of bringing in the lips. I need to order boxes of the lip chocolates for my dinner group girlfriends. Perfect party favor. Great tip on the balloons. Another tip someone shared with me years ago, is buy helium balloons at the dollar store. So economical and perfect if one needs a large number of balloons. The black and gold theme is a favorite for me, and yours is spectacular. The touch of red really makes it special. Happy Valentine's Day to you and Paul. It's fun to be with you on this Valentine's Day Blog Hop.

  16. Linda, I love how you're planning a party with your clogging buddies. The girls are going to LOVE this! The theme is darling, and the way you've implemented it with the big lips is so cute! I love the hearts hanging on your chandelier...the glitter sparkles on them! The black and gold goblets are an inspiration in how they tie together all the black and gold elements. The kissing balls are all you need flower-wise....I do love them, too. I had no idea Target sold such blingy placemats. I hate I missed out on them because I would use them a whole lot! The gals will love the party favors, too.
    Happy Valentine's!
    XO,
    Ricki Jill

  22. I was so excited to see what you would come up with for this hop Linda. You absolutely always nail it! I love all the little details you've added. I believe that's what they call "vision." It never ceases to amaze that something I walked past without a thought, ends up looking fabulous in your designs. Vision! What an amazing job Paul did bringing it all together with that centerpiece too! Have a wonderful time with the Cloggers. They are in for such a treat!

  23. Linda, what gorgeous fun! I love your Sealed with a Kiss floral centerpiece box to hold all of your roses. It is the perfect centerpiece. Of course, the huge lip balloons are so festive and the Etsy lip boxes filled with lip chocolates are such a playful touch. I feel in love with your black and gold wine glasses given to you by your friend. They are unique and so elegant at the same time. Of course, what works the best as a tablecloth is your choice of the lovely rose tablecloth. It immediately sets the tone of the tablescape and spells love and romance. Your black and white striped runner with red kisses is bold and immediately pulls together all of the lip or kiss decor. So heartwarming and fun. Happy Valentine's Day!
