Shamrocks with Gold

Welcome to the  Lucky Charms tablescape Blog Hop. I want to thank Debbee from Debbee's Buzz for organizing this fun filled blog hop. You will find  tablescapes, crafts and Irish food. Let the Shenanigans begin!  We are all excited to see who is the Keeper of the Cloth this year. Last year Debbee's Buzz had the pleasure of being the Keeper of the Cloth.  I had passed it on to her.

Happy upcoming St. Patrick's Day.  I am actually Scottish. What are the similarities between Scots and Irish people? They are both Celtic nations ☘ Tartans are found on both
They have a drinking reputation. ☘  Both of them love to enjoy and have fun.

I set this table on a dark green tablecloth with cabbage placemats, a gold charger and  Bordallo Pinheiro  cabbage plates. I added a gold plate and a Mackenzie Child's clover plate on top.  Gold flatware picks up the gold in the Lucky Clover plate.

I dressed my chairs  with green pillow cases and a gold chair sash. Gold goblets tie in nicely with the green. I couldn't make up my mind on which tablecloth to use, so I took photos of both.
A shamrock dish by Temptation is sitting on the Mackenzie Child's Lucky Clover plate.

I found this cute little Leprechaun that lights up.  I thought he would compliment my table nicely.
With the gold tablecloth, I am getting my bling in!

I made some Irish pasties for the occasion. Using Pillsbury pie crust, corned beef and potatoes, coleslaw mix and a little mustard.  A pasty is a hand-held pie filled with savory meat or vegetables & spices. A quick and easy pasty to enjoy with a mug of beer.

I also made this Irish Apple Cake.  The recipe is by Gemma Stafford.  It is a cross between a coffee cake and an apple pie.

I decorated our Baker's rack with some St. Paddy's green.

  11. Linda, those M-C four leaf clover plates are the stars here, in my humble opinion. I resisted until this year, but only bought one, so special fo you to have a table setting of four! I love how you couldn't resist your signature bling, right down to changing out the tablecloth. I like both! The foods you made sound delish, and I'll toast to that pasty! Beautiful display of all your M-C checks and St Paddy's Day green in the baker's rack. Happy to be in your company on this blog hop! Let the shenanigans begin!☘️

I've never had Irish apply cake, and it and the hand pies look delicious! And, I always enjoy seeing how you style those incredible dish stacks, flatware and glasses from your extensive collection of tableware and linens. Such a festive St. Patrick's Day table!

  20. I was hopping along and I had to double check where I was. I immediately fell in love with the plate stacks. So incredibly pretty! Next I saw the leprechaun and he was such a fun addition. Then the third picture popped up and I knew exactly where I was! Of course... it was the bling! As I moved further through the pictures though, I realized it didn't matter at all which tablecloth you used. The food, your gorgeous Baker's rack, and all the little details that are so much a part of your style left little doubt I had made it to your house! Just gorgeous Linda! Thanks so much for the constant inspiration! Have a great weekend!
