We entertained some friends last night with a bountiful harvest dinner. Jain and Scott From A Quiet Life Blog, Karen & Maury from Bodacious Blooms and new neighbors, Catherine & David from @dutchdoorfarm.
Nature's bounty make a lovely centerpiece. Many thanks to Jain for providing the apples, pomegranate, and roses.
I wanted to share where I got the fruit for the table's centerpiece. Saturday Jain and Scott invited Paul & I over for charcuterie, champagne and hot tubbing.
.
Their new pool is so beautiful with lovely views.
Jain always arranges beautiful food.Afterwards, Jain and I picked some fabulous fruit from her gardens and a few roses for my dining table. That is how my harvest centerpiece came into action. After the dinner party, the fruits and vegetables are good for eating.
I love these plates. I got them from Home Goods years ago. They do remind me of Provence or even Italy with the fields of lavender, even Monique on Instagram commented the same thoughts.I used my Pinheiro Bordallo cabbage bowls for the salad. I made a delicious Autumn Chopped salad with pears, apples, dried cranberries, bacon, feta cheese, lettuce and creamy poppy seed dressing.
This table I set with my sequined purple tablecloth. I am using the same wicker chargers as the wine dinner with the exception of the purple plate chargers. I added a lavender table runner to coordinate with the plates.
I made place cards for each place setting. Jain sat by me. I actually downloaded these cute placecards from I should Be Mopping the Floor. I downloaded them and opened them in PicMonkey to add the names.

It was a wonderful evening. Jain also gifted me some of her beautiful white roses the night of the dinner party. They were presented in a pretty pumpkin pitcher.
Stay tuned for my Girl's Night Out tablescape. The party is on Saturday Oct. 7th.
