Girls Night Out Party

For my clogging group of ladies, I decorated  my dining room table with gold and black and a touch of pink. Ladies Night out!  is the theme
This table is pretty blingy with lots of gold.   A fancy regal table for my Clogger ladies.  Black chargers with gold hold the gold clear dinner plates topped with a fabulous shoe salad plate. It's all about the shoes.

The saying on the shoe plates  "I always want more! You can never have too many....

The centerpiece is pink and red roses with alstromeria in a gold pedestal bowl.

These fabulous gold and black goblets were a birthday gift from my sweet friend, Karen. The champagne flutes have a gold rimmed top.

I found these adorable high heel ornaments at Hobby Lobby.  I tucked some gold and black lip balms in each shoe at each place setting.

The rose centerpiece sits on glitter placemats I had on hand.  I needed something to break up all of the gold.

I love these cordless touch lamps on my table. They have different setting to dim the lights. Just touch the top. A great way to light up your table safely.

Here are my newest gadget- These pretty cordless touch table lamps from ILUMINATING
They offer free shipping and a great price if you buy a Duo pack.

Two gold high heel wine bottle holders have small bottles of champagne. I bought them years ago on clearance for $3.00 each at Safeway. One of the ladies asked if I wear them...LOL I explained No, they are for wine bottles.
I folded the napkins to look like a dress. The gold crown napkin rings fit in nicely with this theme.
I turned those two gold vases upside down and added my golden crowns on top. Inside are fairy lights.

My dessert table in the breakfast room.
Chocolate cupcakes - carrot cake cupcakes, mini lemon cakes, assorted macarons and mini raspberry cheesecake cones.

To create this dress cupcakes stand, I used my dress Christmas tree.  It came in different sections, also with lights. I wanted to use just the top portion.  I had my handy husband cut out two circle tiers from fiberboard. I can always write a post on how I achieved this look if you like.

Each guest received these cute leopard gift bags with eye masks, chocolates, candy high heel, lipstick ink pens and a small leopard purse for lipstick.  Lip balm was inside each purse.

I hope you have enjoyed  my Girl's Night Out! party.

  2. I think all blogland has been waiting for this and it was worth the wait! How elegant -- the black and gold really works together for a beautiful and sophisticated feel but the delightful shoe plates and accessories give it just enough whimsy to be fun but not enough to feel at sea with the elegance. It's definitely a stunner. LOVE that dessert tree!

  14. Absolutely darling, Linda! I bet that was a really fun night! I've had similar duo pack lamps in my Amazon cart. I bought a different type when we were in the condo (more contemporary), but I love these traditional ones. They're great because they're USB rechargeable.
