Autumn Leaves & Pumpkins Please

Welcome to another tablescape blog hop, this one is dedicated to Thanksgiving.  The lovely Rita from Panoply has organized this  blog hop for us.  Thank you Rita.  You will find a total of 17 Thanksgiving tablescapes for your viewing pleasure.  I hope you are inspired! The links are at the bottom of this post.
My table inspiration is from this Tom turkey. He makes for a wonderful centerpiece.  Intricately sculpted right down to its red beard and then hand-painted to capture each sculptural nuance. Seemingly strutting every one of its 5000 feathers, this North American turkey statue makes it easy to see why both Benjamin Franklin and Native Americans would give this majestic fellow a nod as the US national bird.

The table runner feature two turkeys, pumpkins, and  a cute squirrel holding an acorn.
Since Mr. Tom Turkey has some blue, I decided to add some pops of blue with the blue pumpkins, glassware,  dinner plates  and napkins.  At the end of the runner, I gathered 3 pumpkins with  decorative leaves.
Pumpkin shaped placemats in a light beige color match the table runner's background color.
I then added my Chris Madden's bronze plate chargers.  I like to mix and match, so when I saw these sweet pumpkin dinner plates at the Dollar Tree, I knew there would be perfect.  I topped them with my Royal Stafford leaves salad plates and  Chris Madden pumpkin tureens. They makes the perfect vessel for my pumpkin soup.
I combined two different napkins to coordinate with my table.  They are held in place by  these woven Nicole  Miller napkin rings.
The pumpkin dinner plates are from the  Dollar Tree.

Your mix and match pieces in your plate stack really harmonize beautifully. The large tom turkey as your centerpiece is a great piece that immediately tells me it is Thanksgiving season. 22. Your ‘Tom’ is so handsome Linda, and I love the bright blue accents on your Thanksgiving table! Such a pretty contrast to the traditional orange and warm fall colors. I echo Pam’s comment about your mix of high and low…your Dollar Tree plates paired with Z Gallerie stemware and flatware from Horchow. Your Tom turkey table runner is beautiful too. Great minds shop alike, I bought the same basketweave pumpkin napkin rings at HomeGoods. 😊 As always, it’s a treat to have a virtual seat at your table and hop with you! Wishing you a wonderful season of Thanksgiving.🦃

  23. Linda, I love blue and orange together, and this makes for a really pretty Thanksgiving look! What a stylish your DT plate, Royal Stafford salad and Chris Madden tureen make for that plate stack! I absolutely love the high-low mix of items you've collected over the years, elevating it entirely with your overall look. That Tom Turkey centerpiece is amazing. He's really quite handsome, and commands attention with that blue glassware and blue tips of the napkins framing him up from the place settings. Your dining room decor looks great with it all put together with the added pumpkins and tabletop lights.
Linda, thank you for bringing your collections and styling talent to this Thanksgiving blog hop. I really appreciate you. Happy Thanksgiving season. I count you as one of my many blessings!

  24. Love that pop of blue and your giant Tom Turkey taking his place of honor on the table. It's so festive!!

  25. Linda, your turkey indeed makes an impressive centerpiece! Love all his details -- he's about the nicest I've seen. Going from the blues in his feathers to blues in the glassware and napkins was a great choice as they resonate against the oranges in the pumpkins and plates. I like how the design of the flatware handles is a perfect bridge between the woven napkin rings and the intricate chargers. Beautifully done! It's such a delight to hop with you. Happy Thanksgiving!
