Hello everyone, I have been meaning to recover my breakfast chairs for quite some time. When I create tablescapes in the breakfast room, I have resorted to using pillow cases for my chairs. They make great chair covers and come in so many assorted colors and patterns.
Here's the first chair. I saved the top part to finish after the seats were done.
When it came time to re-cover the top part of the chairs. I struggled with getting it to look great and fit in the groove. So I contacted the upholstery company that re-covered our patio chairs. They are a local company who did a fabulous job on our outdoor chairs.
Below is the patio chairs we had re-covered by All in One Upholstery.
I love how the chairs turned out! A nice change for our Breakfast room.

What a beautiful, elegant and perfect fabric you chose! And of course you're right, the neutral colour will give you so much more scope when designing your tablescapes. I can see why you're pleased with the makeover!
ReplyDelete"Oh, but I like the chairs the way they are." - scroll on down - "HEY! I LOVE the new fabric!"What a wowza of a change!" I'm thinking about covering the squares in my coffered (is that how you spell it?) ceiling in fabric - not paint or wallpaper. Not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I'll definitely give Fabric Wholesale Direct a look. My choices of fabric are limited in a small town. - boo hoo, because I love smelling and browzing in fabric stores! - Thanks!
ReplyDeleteLooks great, you know I love neutral colors, goes with everything, the perfect classic design! Bravo to your new refreshing look.

ReplyDeleteThey look great Lynne. Very elegant and classy. That’s the kind of fabric I would’ve chosen. I used to redo my dining room chairs regularly. Got to the point where they had too many holes in the wood frames from all the stapling. Good job
