Hippity Hoppity Tablescape

Welcome to another Tablescape Blog Hop for Spring.  There are a total of 18 tablescapers who have set a pretty table in honor of spring.  You will find the links at the bottom of this post.  I want to thank Rita from Panoply for organizing another blog hop. Now hop to it!

My table is inspired by Mackenzie Childs  Parchment Check Great Vase and some adorable  Mackenzie Child's Rose Garden plates and  MKC Wildflowers bunny dishes.

The table features a blue rosette tablecloth with pink rose placemats. I layered a scalloped white charger along with these pink  beaded dinner plates. I then added the MKC rose garden plates and  the cute MKC wildflowers bunny dishes.  I added some  Easter candy to each bunny bowl.
The MKC Parchment Check  vase was a gift to my mom for Christmas.  She loved blue.  She passed away almost 4 years ago and I inherited the vase,  It's very special to me.  I arranged blue and yellow hydrangeas along with some pink and yellow tulips. The flocked Easter bunny is a Michaels find and ties in nicely with the blue on the vase.
Rose on rose with the blue tablecloth and rose placemats.

My two Pier1 bunnies I bought years ago on clearance along with the sweet white bunny from Michaels.

I couldn't pass up these sweet bunny towels in pink and blue to match the table.

Pretty in pink with this cute flocked bunny and the plate stack. The mini cloches are filled with coordinating colored eggs and Easter grass.

For dessert I made these sweet little puff pastry bunnies filled with mascarpone-lemon filling. They are sitting on edible Easter grass candy.

  5. Hoppy spring, Linda! What a great way to showcase the Parchment Check great vase, and I would've never thought of the color combo you used, but I love it! It's nice to have the vase as a memorable gift you'd given her, and I'm sure she loved it too. The pink and blue looks great. Those flower plates have caught my eye, and those little bunny dished atop are adorable! I don't blame you one vit for picking up those cute dish towels, they are perfect for this table. I am really loving your newly covered chairs in your dinette. They're the perfect neutral base, and look really nice. I saw that edible grass in the grocery - how clever!

  12. Pink and blue is such a lovely combination to welcome Spring, Linda. When you added in the florals with a bit of yellow you had a symphony of spring colors. My favorites were the bunnies from Pier 1. It's so sad that we no longer have that store available. They always had such great items. I liked the large gentleman bunny on your table. the ceramic bunnies filled with treats for each guest were really welcoming. Happy Spring!

  13. Linda the first items that caught my eye were the sweet blue and pink bunnies! have you ever had a deja vous moment where a certain smell or color or spoken word brought back memories? That is what happened to me when I saw the pastel flocked bunnies. they took me back to an Easter when my grandmother brought my sister and I flocked/felt jammies in the same shades of blue and pink. thank you for those precious memories as my sister passed away 3 years ago shortly after your dear mother....so I know you have precious memories of her when you look at that beautiful vase. I know she lived with you towards the end. I also like your neutral chairs around your table. They were beautiful before but even better now. The cloches are a nice touch and I am envious of your puff pastry bunnies. Almost too pretty to eat. The tablecloth reminds me of the pink one you have. I have always admired it and now this pretty blue one takes center stage. I always look forward to hopping with you as you never fail to inspire with your glitz and glamour. You make me want to go out and buy one of everything you have set on your table. Happy Easter to you and yours. 💜🐇🧚‍♂️🐰🐣🐞🦋🌸🥕💸🎀💜
