Yesterday and today the weather is lovely. The night time temps were 58°. The bad news, California has another fire in Chico, CA. They believe a man pushing a burning car down a 6- foot embankment caused the fire. As of Saturday. the wildfire grew to over 350,000 acres. So very sad. Prayers for all in this deadly path.
You can see why I am ready for fall. Deadly fires and extreme temps here in northern California.
On an happier note, our house on a lovely fall day. I am so looking forward to cooler temps.

Linda, isn't Chico less than 2 hrs away from you? Is there an imminent threat for you? We are in a drought right now and it's miserable. I'm also looking forward to September and fall. Right now it's 98°.

Yes, I heard about the Chico wildfire on the news. A blogging buddy lives there but luckily she is safe and hopefully will remain so. Others too!
ReplyDeleteEverytime I hear about Cali wildfires I pray for you all out there. We have been fortunate not to have had moderate temps up till now, but a heat wave is coming. I'm over summer by August! Your landscaping is gorgeous, Linda. Thanks for having us over.

Sorry about the wild fires....It seems that they go with the season these days..very sad..I have been ready for fall since June 1st..Not a fan of summer.Your pasta salad looks sooo good..A favorite of mine that I rarely have..Thanks for sharing all those wonderful features..
