Under The Sea Tablescape

Since the weather has cooled a little, I set a under the sea table under the palapa. The theme all started with the cute jelly fish paper lanterns. I wanted to create a sea themed table. My husband told me, he had an idea for a tablescape. An aquarium table.  Basically it was the same idea I was going for.
The fish  make the table look like an aquarium.  The table rod came in handy to hang the jellyfish paper lanterns and fish. I had most of the other accessories and tableware.

Lots of color to create this underwater look.

I used an aqua starfish tablecloth as a runner for the seashells and decor.
The napkin rings are seashells.
The centerpiece is a tall glass cylinder that I added aquarium stones with plants.  I tucked in an LED puck light for nighttime ambiance.

The chargers, plates and goblets were purchased years ago.

This angle you can see the hutch my husband built.
Below is the video I shot of the table.  Enjoy!

Night time is magical with lots of colors with the addition of LED lighting.

Here's a few other looks with  aqua.

I hope your temps are not too hot. We got a little break.  In fact, today we had a few sprinkles.
Happy August.

  10. I love how it all comes together, especially with the lighting but I have to say it is the lanterns and the hanging fish that are totally rocking it for me. It takes me to a magical undersea land and I just adore it. Gorgeous, Linda, and such fun!

  13. Happy August, another amazing tablescape. I am a big fan of lighting. I'm glad you got a little break in the temperature and had a few sprinkles. We haven't dined alfresco much this summer at home as it has been humid and there is no breeze. At our lake cabin, the temperature is eight degrees cooler so we've been eating outdoors (if the bugs don't bother us lol).

Perfect underwater table Linda. The jellyfish make it magical as the breeze moves them. LED lighting completes the scene. I love your creative ideas even if the hubby has the same it just shows that great minds think alike. Keep cool
