Since Arabella loves blue, I thought I would decorate the party with blue and orange as an accent. Since her birthday is on the first day of autumn, the orange and pumpkins fit in nicely with the theme.

I chose to use Spode Blue Italian plates with white Pier 1 plate chargers. Navy placemats were seated under the plate stack and rust and blue napkins were held together with the cute blue and white napkin rings.
At each end of the rod, I added a balloon bouquet in different shades of blue, white and orange. I added two blue and white ginger jars and a lovely bouquet of fresh flowers from our local grocery store. I tucked in mini pumpkins in my floral arrangement.

You’re the hostess with the mostest Linda! What a beautiful table with your florals and table rod. Brilliant to hang it upside down and I love the balloons and garland. I know a good time was had by all including the birthday girl, Arabella! I hope I’m still driving and celebrating when I’m 90. Your pool area and palapa are perfect for entertaining!

I'd never seen table rods till your posts. They're such a fabulous touch. I'm quite sure Arabella was over the moon with your glorious table and lovely food! What a grand celebration. Blue and orange always works so well together, especially in the fall and the pumpkins are perfection! And I just love Arabella's crown!
