Seven Swans a Swimming

My Christmas table was inspired by the song “The 12 Days of Christmas” and its Seven Swans a-Swimming verse.  I first applied this amazing glitzy gold tablecloth and a faux fur runner. The swans are the main focal point because of the verse. Gold, silver and white are the chosen colors.
This table is all set up in our diningroom.

Golden square beaded placemats are placed on the golden tablecloth topped with crystal mirror chargers. I am using my Grand Gold Buffet china from Macys. Lacy coupes are sitting on the plate stack with mini swans. The napkins are silver with silver napkins rings with bling. The gold flatware is from Horchow.

The goblets are all decked out with gold to fit this table's theme. Champagne is served for this lovely Christmas brunch.  Mini golden Christmas trees hold each place card.

I added these pretty golden Christmas tree candles plus my golden crystal candle holders.
Crystal Christmas trees add the sparkle to my table.  i am all about the bling!

The large swans are show stoppers with their snowy downy feather and gold crowns.
They are from Mrs. Alice collections.  Two flank the glass swan bowl with white flowers.  I managed to find the smaller swans to sit in my champagne coupes.

I found these darling little golden swan sleds at Michaels on sale.   I added small little angels to sit inside.
This Christmas tree is decorated in gold, white and silver to match the table design. Below is a fun video I created.  Enjoy.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas.

  1. Linda, you have outdone yourself if that's possible. Your table is gorgeous. I would be terrified that I would spill something on it. Have a wonderful holiday season

    1. Don't worry, chances are you're not going to get an invitation to that holiday event. You will just have to spill on your own table this year.

  5. That table is bright and sparkly, the most eye-catching holiday decor of all the blogs. These other bloggers will have to get up pretty early in the morning to compete with this one.
