Spring Blooms 2025 Part I

This spring is a vision of soft sunshine, draped in the creamy yellow cascades of the Lady Banks roses. The sheer abundance of tiny blooms creates a cheerful, almost ethereal effect. I welcome the warm rays of the sun and colorful blooms to tickle anyone's fancy.

Nearby, the wisteria gracefully climbs its trellis, adorned with pretty, fragrant blooms that perfume the air with their sweet notes.
The delightful aroma draws me closer to the vibrant purple lilacs, their delicate flowers clustered in fragrant panicles, a feast for both the eyes and the nose.
Speaking of wisteria, I set a table in 2023 with wisteria.

Adding another layer of aromatic beauty are the rosemary shrubs, their needle-like leaves releasing their distinct scent, punctuated by delicate, small lavender-colored flowers that are a magnet for buzzing bees, who also flock to the pretty lavender nearby. It's a joy to simply stand amidst this spring symphony, breathing in the intoxicating blend of floral perfumes.

The  yellow marguerites, a constant cheerful presence from the back of our house also next to the tranquil pool waterfall, truly embodies the bright spirit of spring.
Having bee-friendly flowers in your garden is a great way to support these important pollinators. Marguerite daisies offer a good source of nectar and pollen for them.

  4. Hi Linda. I am so jealous you see so many blooms already. Lilacs are my faves. I had some outside my bedroom window and loved waking to the smell of them. Hopefully we will start to see some blooms here soon. Hugs. Kris Junk Chic Cottage
